Scientists say there is no chance that Europe’s Large Hadron Collider will produce an apocalyptic black hole or deadly catastrophe when testing begins in August.
Why does that not reassure me?
If The Large Hadron Collider Produced A Microscopic Black Hole, It Probably Wouldn’t Matter … I’m a strong believer in the precautionary approach. Why do we need to smash atoms?? They didn’t ask me whether I minded them risking apocalyptic black holes and deadly planet eating catastrophes.
