We assume the solar powered bag comes with a small battery back-up, from which you then plug-in your phone, ipod, laptop, whatever.

That is what makes it so cool! A truly portable solution!

I was also wondering how you went about charging your gadgets. Do you just put them in the bag and they magically get charged or what? Also what about the inside of the bag like compartments and such? I know the focus is to be on the fact that its solar powered but if I want to carry it around I need to know more.

Wow, I just love solar powered gidgets and gadgets. Or shall I say solar powering of your gidgets and gadgets. There are so many ways to help the enviroment but solar technology has to be the best because in this day and age we have so many electronic things that need power so if you can use solar then that makes it all the better.

whatever that is, to me it looks like a bag but what it is going to power up and are the solar cells or panel reliable to carry around like that

My sister just showed me this exact backpack last week. It’s very cool - she is charging her cell phone and Ipod through it all day long as she walks around Manhattan. The one drawback I found was that it was slightly heavy.

These backpacks are very cool. I want one as well. I have featured it on my blog as I think we should all be looking for ways to generate power from the sun. Imagine recharging your gadgets while laying in the sun next to a high mountain lake. Sweet.

Hmmm, can you sew solar panels on anything now? I’m going to sew them on to my anorak for when it’s raining… oh, wait. lol
