That makes for some scary reading even given the amount of press climate change has been receiving of late.
What could be an interesting out take and complete societal reversal based on this article is that if the area from Texas right up to Canada does actually turn into a dust bowl and Lake Mega-Chad once again makes the central Sahara a fertile land, we could see white, middle class Americans emmigrating to Africa. Possibly to take up labouring jobs for the newly wealthy native farmers of the Sahara!
