I blogged a while back about Blackle - a way of saving power by using a black version of google (or any other site for that matter). Great idea except that apparently it doesn’t work for LCD monitors or at least not significantly anyway.
This new project sheds some more light on this and confirms that it’s not such an effective thing if you’re using an LDC monitor or a laptop but my goodness it’s nicely executed!
