dancerThe Right Brain vs Left Brain test … do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If you see her turning clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain. If you see her turning anti clockwise the you favour your left brain.

Most people see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

It can also depend on your state of mind when you look at it.

I get the rotation to change, but is it me or is it the image doing it?

I don’t understand how anyone could see this as anything other than clockwise. she is moving left to right? is it some sort of magic eye thing where if you focus your eyes in a different way it changes? would it work with monocular vision?

  3. 3 Greg Markow

That’s bizarre. First she moves counterclockwise and aftet watching suddenly she’s going clockwise!

  4. 4 Bixuan

Yeah I agree. I see it moving counter clockwise then clockwise. How to explain that?

  5. 5 Azteca

Well,.. she is actuelly mooving in both directions if you keep exercising your perspective, left and right, left and right, after a wile you can also see how she stop turning and just swinging

i find that when i am casual the girl was moving anti clock wise and when i am being con centered in some reading then it starts to move clockwise. some time i found very sudden fluctuations in clock and anti clock wise.

First it moves clockwise, then i can make it move counter clockwise by looking at shadow of her feet. I can make it go both ways instantly.

when looking at the picture straight on she goes clockwise the entire time but when i skroll down and i could only see her feet i could see her changing directions? Most of the time it is going clockwise though??? this is trippy!!!

  9. 9 LOL

Hmm… piece of crap it changes direction by itself. I noticed this after staring at it for 10 min intervals. It changes manually 10 mins counter 10 clockwise

It only goes counter clockwise for me, I don’t know why but I can’t get it to change directions no matter how long I look at it.

  11. 11 mossavari

it goes counter clockwise and sometimes anticlockwise. what does mean?

“I noticed this after staring at it for 10 min intervals. It changes manually 10 mins counter 10 clockwise”

I think your right about that. It would be a neat illusion if you could actually get it to change directions but it really does it on its own. If you look a the figure its a 3-d model, so there is no possible way for it to magically change directions by just thinking about it. The whole right brain left brain thing that goes along with it may be a bit of a simplification too.

I see her move CLOCKWISE. I tried to see her move the other direction but can’t!!
